Rumor: 
The State Bank of Vietnam (SBV) may consider lowering the required reserve ratio (RRR). This would be a monetary easing tool aimed at releasing funds currently held at the SBV, improving commercial banks’ liquidity, reducing lending rates, and supporting credit growth.
Estimated liquidity released:
VPB: ~VND 8.5 trillion
VCB: ~VND 20 trillion
MBB: ~VND 13 trillion
HDB: ~VND 7 trillion
Total: approximately VND 48.5 trillion.
